01

This Refund Policy applies to payments made for services provided directly by Lamtas through its website and related client engagement processes.
It may apply to services within the following Lamtas divisions:
- - Technology & IT
- - AI & Data
- - Documents, Writing & Content
- - Business Process Outsourcing
- - Virtual Assistance
- - Creative & Design
- - Digital Marketing
- - Sales & Lead Generation
- - Finance & Accounting
- - Research & Consulting
- - HR & Recruitment
- - Language & Localization
- - Education & Training
- - Industry Solutions
The policy may also apply to other services, deliverables, resources, projects, subscriptions, consultations, or assignments specifically agreed between Lamtas and a client.
02
Nature of Our Services
Many Lamtas services are professional, customized, project-based, or dependent on information and requirements supplied by the client.
Depending on the service, work may involve consultation, project scoping, research, writing, drafting, editing, design, coding, software development, data processing, analysis, administration, marketing, lead generation, financial work, recruitment support, translation, localization, training, documentation, quality review, project management, or other specialized activities.
Once resources have been allocated and substantive work has begun, Lamtas may have incurred professional costs that cannot reasonably be reversed.
03
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client requests cancellation before substantive work has started, Lamtas may consider a refund of amounts that have not already been earned or committed.
Any refund may be reduced by amounts relating to work already performed, project preparation, consultation, administrative processing, payment processing charges, or non-refundable third-party expenses.
Where a written quotation, proposal, service agreement, invoice, or statement of work contains specific cancellation terms, those terms may apply.
04
Cancellation After Work Has Started
If work has already started, refund eligibility will generally depend on the amount and nature of work completed at the time cancellation is requested.
Lamtas may consider factors including professional time spent, research completed, drafts or deliverables prepared, development completed, design work performed, meetings held, project setup, resources committed, third-party costs, and other expenses.
Amounts corresponding to work already performed may be retained, while any unearned balance may be considered for refund where appropriate.
05
Completed Services
Once a service has been substantially completed or the agreed deliverables have been provided, payment will generally be non-refundable.
A refund will generally not be provided solely because a client:
- - Changes their mind after completion.
- - No longer needs the service.
- - Chooses not to use the completed deliverable.
- - Changes their business plans.
- - Changes the intended use of the deliverable.
- - Delays implementation of the deliverable.
- - Decides to pursue a different project strategy.
This does not prevent refunds or other remedies where expressly provided by an applicable written agreement or required by law.
06
Customized Services and Project Deliverables
Many Lamtas engagements involve work created specifically for a client's requirements. This may include websites, software-related work, documents, reports, research, designs, business materials, marketing assets, data outputs, administrative processes, training materials, technical documentation, or other customized deliverables.
Once customized work has begun, a refund will not automatically be available because the client later changes instructions, modifies business requirements, supplies different information, changes the intended purpose of the project, or decides that the original requirements are no longer suitable.
Where possible, Lamtas may work with the client to revise the scope or determine whether the remaining work can be adapted to the new requirements.
07
Review, Analysis, Research and Consulting Services
Research, analysis, consulting, review, strategy, advisory, and related professional services may involve significant work before a final deliverable is produced.
Once substantive work has started, any refund will generally be limited to an amount that has not already been earned or committed, subject to the applicable project terms.
A client's disagreement with a recommendation, analysis, strategy, interpretation, or professional assessment does not by itself create an entitlement to a refund where the agreed service has been properly performed.
08
Revisions
Where revisions are included in the agreed service, they generally apply only to reasonable changes within the original project scope.
A revision request may not qualify as an included revision if it substantially changes the original requirements or requires new research, development, design, writing, analysis, data work, additional deliverables, or other substantial work.
Examples of work that may require an additional fee include:
- - Significant redesigns.
- - New website features.
- - New documents or additional sections.
- - New research or analysis.
- - Additional data processing.
- - New marketing campaigns or materials.
- - Major changes to an approved project direction.
- - Additional meetings or consulting sessions.
09
Client Delays and Incomplete Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information reasonably required to perform their projects.
Delays caused by missing information, late responses, inaccurate instructions, unavailable access, approval delays, changes in requirements, or other client dependencies may affect project timelines and delivery.
A refund will not necessarily be available where Lamtas has performed work but the project cannot proceed because required client information, approvals, materials, access, or instructions were not provided.
10
Additional Work and Scope Changes
The agreed scope of work determines what is included in a project. Requests outside that scope may require additional fees.
Examples may include additional pages, features, designs, documents, campaigns, data processing, research, meetings, revisions, integrations, localization, training sessions, administrative tasks, development work, or urgent turnaround requirements.
A client request to expand or substantially change a project does not automatically create a right to cancel the original engagement and receive a full refund.
Where appropriate, Lamtas may provide a revised quotation or statement of work for additional requirements.
11
Duplicate or Accidental Payments
If a client accidentally pays the same invoice or order more than once, the duplicate amount may be eligible for refund after the payment has been verified.
Lamtas may request reasonable information necessary to confirm the duplicate payment before processing the refund.
Where the duplicate amount is applied to another valid outstanding balance with the client's authorization, Lamtas may instead apply the amount toward that balance.
12
Payment Processing Charges
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, banks, card networks, electronic payment systems, or other payment infrastructure.
Where permitted by applicable law and the relevant payment provider's rules, payment processing charges that have already been incurred may not be recoverable by Lamtas.
Any refund will generally be calculated based on the amount appropriately refundable after considering applicable charges, earned fees, and other permitted deductions.
13
Services Ordered Through the Lamtas Website
Lamtas provides its services directly through its website and related client communication and payment channels. This Refund Policy applies to services requested, purchased, or engaged through the Lamtas website.
A service may be confirmed through a quotation, proposal, invoice, service agreement, statement of work, order confirmation, written acceptance, payment confirmation, or other written communication.
Where a specific quotation, proposal, service agreement, statement of work, invoice, or other written engagement document contains specific cancellation, payment, or refund terms, those terms may apply to the relevant project.
If there is a conflict between this policy and a specific written project agreement, the applicable project agreement will generally govern the specific engagement to the extent permitted by law.
14
Refund Requests
Clients who believe they may qualify for a refund should contact Lamtas as soon as reasonably possible.
A refund request should provide sufficient information to allow the relevant payment and project to be identified.
Where applicable, please provide:
- - Client name or business name.
- - Email address or other contact information used for the engagement.
- - Service purchased or requested.
- - Payment or order date.
- - Invoice, quotation, order, or project reference.
- - Reason for the refund request.
- - Relevant supporting information.
Refund requests can be submitted through theLamtas contact page.
15
Refund Assessment
Refund requests may be reviewed individually based on the circumstances of the relevant engagement.
Factors considered may include:
- - The applicable quotation, proposal, invoice, or agreement.
- - The agreed scope of work.
- - The stage of the project.
- - Work already completed.
- - Deliverables already provided.
- - Professional time and resources committed.
- - The reason for cancellation or refund.
- - Third-party costs already incurred.
- - Any applicable mandatory legal requirements.
Lamtas may request additional information where reasonably necessary to evaluate a refund request.
16
Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved, Lamtas will generally return the refundable amount using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for a refund to appear in a client's account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, electronic payment system, or other financial institution.
Lamtas cannot guarantee the processing time of an independent payment provider after a refund has been initiated.
17
Non-Refundable Third-Party Costs
Some projects may require third-party resources, software, hosting, domains, licenses, data services, APIs, cloud services, payment services, advertising platforms, stock assets, communications services, or other external resources.
Where Lamtas has incurred a non-refundable third-party cost specifically for a client's project, that amount may be excluded from a refund where permitted by the applicable terms and law.
Clients may be informed of material third-party costs where they are known and relevant to the project.
18
No Refund Based on Business or Project Outcome
Unless a specific written agreement expressly provides otherwise, Lamtas charges for professional services and agreed deliverables, not for guaranteed business, financial, technical, marketing, or commercial results.
A refund will generally not be available solely because a client does not achieve an expected result such as:
- - A particular level of revenue or profit.
- - A particular number of sales or leads.
- - A particular search-engine ranking.
- - A particular investment or funding result.
- - A particular customer response.
- - A particular approval or acceptance.
- - A particular business growth target.
- - A particular website or technology performance outcome.
- - A particular operational or organizational result.
This provision does not exclude remedies where Lamtas has expressly guaranteed a specific deliverable or service obligation under a written agreement, or where applicable law provides otherwise.
19
No Waiver of Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, waive, or override any consumer, contractual, statutory, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Where mandatory requirements applicable to a particular transaction provide a client with rights that differ from this policy, those mandatory requirements will apply to the extent required.
20
Relationship With Other Policies
This Refund Policy should be read together with other applicable Lamtas policies and engagement documents.
Specific project agreements, quotations, proposals, statements of work, invoices, or other written engagement terms may contain additional provisions relating to payments, cancellations, revisions, delivery, and refunds.
21
Changes to This Refund Policy
Lamtas may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to its services, payment processes, website functionality, business practices, technology, contractual arrangements, or applicable requirements.
When the policy is updated, the revised version may be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing, the version applicable to an engagement will be determined with reference to the applicable transaction and project terms.
