Interpreting the result
Pearson's r ranges from -1 to +1. Values closer to +1 indicate a stronger positive linear association, while values closer to -1 indicate a stronger negative linear association. A value near zero indicates little linear association.
Important: Correlation does not establish causation. A strong association may arise from other variables, study design, measurement issues, or chance.
